Laughing Baby

On Wednesday My great friend Robin came over for a "play date" (her daughter Adalyn is 3 months older that Keegan so they don't really "Play" yet, our get togethers are more for her and I to socialize). Robin and I both decided that we are going to start getting together once a week. I have really enjoyed spending time with her and Adalyn. They are definitely special people in our lives. Here are some pictures from our play date a few weeks ago.

but Adalyn got her back.. ;)
Aren't they just too cute!
Keegan has started to laugh.. It is the cutest thing Adam and I have ever seen! I swear every time she smiles my heart just melts. Here is a video of her laughing.
The funny thing is the only way we have gotten her to laugh is for me to stick my tongue out and cross my eyes ( I took a picture of me doing this to put on here but it is so horrible, I will just let you picture me in your head)
Here are a few other pictures of Keegan from this week..

Hello Again!
Keegan is doing wonderful. She is almost 11 weeks old now and amazes Adam and I every day with how much she is growing and changing. Having Keegan has for sure changed our lives. Everyone tells you when you are pregnant how much your life is going to change when you have the baby but until they are here you have no idea. It is an indescribable change that we wouldn’t trade for anything.. Keegan has brought so much love and joy to our lives every day I am in awe at what a beautiful gift God has entrusted to Adam and I.
She just started sleeping through the night about two weeks ago when she was 2 months old. (The pediatrician told me 12 lbs. was the magical weight babies usually hit and then start sleeping, sure enough it was the magic weight for Keegan). We just started putting her to be at 8:oo and she wakes up around 7:00. (We were putting her to bed at 10:00 when we usually go to bed but we decided to try an earlier bed time for her so we could have some time to get things done in the evenings..It is working great so far!) She doesn’t have much of a routine yet besides a bed time and I kind of like that. I want her to be flexible so we can go and do things and not have to worry about being home at an exact time for a nap. She is definitely keeping me busy and I love spending every day with her!
Here are a few Pictures of our cutie..

Ramblings

Our First anniversary was the weekend before last. We decided to take a long weekend and go to gruene. We stayed at the gruene mansion in and had a great time! We ate at all of the restaurants there, went to the outlets in San Marcos, shopped in the cute boutique stores, and floated down the river.
On our way to Gruene we came across a Coleman factory store that was having a tent sale. Adam thought he was in heaven!
Here is Adam with all of the stuff he found that he just couldn't live with out!
Us with the top of our cake..
On our wedding night they sent huge pieces of cake to the hotel with us but forgot to send us forks so just bit right into the cake..so we decided to do the same on our anniversary!

Adam and I had decided before we even got married that when we had a baby, if we could afford it, I would be a stay at home mom. After we got married we then decided that due to the stress of my job I would quit when we found out I was pregnant, instead of waiting on the baby to get here first. So we did just that, my last day of work was last Friday. It was a bitter sweet good bye at Corgan. Although it was stressful and unpleasant at times I will miss many of the people who I am so used to getting to see every day! However my first week of being a "House Wife" has been wonderful so far. I have met my mom for lunch twice, cleaned the whole house, finished all the laundry, cooked, baked cookies, got the windshield replaced in my car, gone to the bank..and much more. I know all of these things sound so petty but these are all just a few of the things that stressed me out while working. I never had time to go to the bank or clean during the week. By the time I got home from work it was 6:00 or 6:30 and after Adam and I ate dinner we were exhausted. I am loving having the day to complete chores and run errands and being able to spend time with Adam and night without having to worry about all the things we need to do!
